Meyer Timber ‘Cheers to 50 Years’ Promotion – Terms & Conditions
- Promotion Overview
1.1. The Meyer Timber ‘Cheers to 50 Years’ promotion (the “Promotion”) is organised by Meyer Timber Pty Ltd (ABN 54 005 314 321), (collectively, Meyer Timber, we, us, our) (the “Promoter”).
1.2. The Promotion is a game of skill, requiring entrants to submit a creative photo incorporating Meyer Timber products and their stockist location.
1.3. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- Eligibility
2.1. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
2.2. Employees of Meyer Timber, its subsidiaries, and affiliated entities are not eligible to enter.
2.3. Only Meyer Timber stockists affiliated with Meyer Timber branches are eligible to participate.
2.4. The competition is limited to one entry per stockist per order number. Multiple entries not following these stipulations will be disqualified.
- Promotion Period
3.1. The Promotion runs from April 30, 2025, to July 31, 2025.
3.2. Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.
- How to Enter
4.1. To enter, participants must:
a) Purchase Meyer Timber branded products.
b) Take a creative photo featuring Meyer Timber products and their stockist location.
c) Complete the online form with their all required details and upload their photo.
4.2. Photos must be original and must not contain any offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content. Meyer Timber reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed unsuitable.
4.3. Entries must not contain any third-party trademarks or copyrighted material unless the entrant has permission to use them.
- Judging & Winner Selection
5.1. This is a game of skill. Winners will be selected based on the creativity and originality of their photo.
5.2. Entries will be judged by a panel of independent judges appointed by Meyer Timber.
5.3. There will be one winner per state branch (NSW, QLD, VIC, and TAS).
5.4. Judging will take place within 10 business days of the competition closing.
5.5. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prizes
6.1. Each winner will receive a prize of $5,000.
6.2. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash other than as stated.
6.3. Prizes will be distributed according to the winner’s instructions following verification.
- Winner Notification & Prize Claim
7.1. Winners will be notified via email within one business day of judging.
7.2. If a winner does not respond within 14 days, the prize will be deemed unclaimed, and a redraw will take place within 28 days.
7.3. The redraw winner will be notified via email within one business day of selection.
- Publicity & Marketing
8.1. By entering, participants agree that Meyer Timber may use their business name, submitted photos, and stockist details for marketing and promotional purposes.
8.2. Winners may be asked to participate in promotional activities if they choose, such as social media posts, feature articles, and case studies.
- Privacy Policy
9.1. Meyer Timber will collect and handle personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy: //meyertimber.com.au/privacy-policy/
9.2. Personal details will only be used for the administration of this competition and relevant 50th birthday marketing unless entrants opt-in for further marketing communications.
- General Conditions
10.1. Meyer Timber reserves the right to:
a) Verify the eligibility of any entrant.
b) Disqualify any entry that does not meet the entry criteria.
c) Modify, suspend, or cancel the competition in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
10.2. Entries must not contain content that is defamatory, unlawful, or offensive. Meyer Timber reserves the right to remove any inappropriate submissions.
- Liability & Indemnity
11.1. Meyer Timber is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of participating in this competition, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
11.2. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for:
a) Any incorrect or inaccurate information submitted.
b) Any technical issues that may prevent an entry from being received.
c) Any loss of data, delays, or failures caused by network disruptions.
- Governing Law
12.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
12.2. Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Australian courts.
